3-year old Murder Case remains unsolved

Even after three years after the death of Tyronie Patterson the authorities are still struggling to gather information that will further the investigation of his murder.

Patterson was shot on March 18, 2017 at about 11 p.m. near the intersection of Southwest Avenue D and Southwest Sixth Street of Belle Glade City. The responders were able to take him to the hospital but he was pronounced dead the next day, on his birthday.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was not able to identify any suspect nor establish a motive for the crime at the time of the incident.

The PBSO investigators are now asking the public to help locate Patterson’s shooter and a $3,000 reward is offered for information that will lead to the arrest of the killer.

Anyone with information related to the incident is requested to call Detective P. Riddle at 561-688-4150, or send a message at riddlep@pbso.org.

The public can also submit any information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS (8477), or by using the sheriff’s office “Connect & Protect smartphone app.
